The Dream by Mystery Bass

from Session 2, Summer 2011 by Bay Area Girls Rock Camp

/

lyrics

I had a sleep over with my friends last night.
We all started to dream the same dream.
We were in a rock band.
We were rocking all night long.
We were on a stage in front of thousands of people,
they all started waving their arms.

Bright lights, I'm real real nervous.
My face is getting sweaty and I think they can tell.
Bright lights, I'm really nervous.
I think I heard a boo and I'm freaking out.

My face is turning red.
I don't know what to do.
I'm freaking out, and I'm scared of all of you.
Do you like it? I wish I knew.

Bright lights, I'm real real nervous.
My face is getting sweaty and I think they can tell.
Bright lights, I'm really nervous.
But I listen to the music and my feet start to move.
